Anonymous Bags is a certified child-resistant package solution per the current Code of Federal Regulation (C.F.R.) Title 16, Part 1700.20. Certification was achieved via testing by Bitner Associates, a recognized laboratory facility for testing child-resistant packaging according to the Consumer Protection Safety Commission’s (CPSC’s) testing protocols. This certification brings Anonymous Bags into full compliance with the Colorado Department of Revenue’s rules on recreational marijuana exit packaging to be certified “child-resistant” as well as with the Oregon Liquor Control Commission's requirements for exit packaging. This certification illustrates Anonymous Bags' position as an industry leader and shows our conscious commitment to protecting children and pets from accidental exposure to marijuana or other medicines.
All products in the Anonymous Bags line comply with Colorado laws that state all adult-use marijuana stores must place cannabis, edibles, and tinctures in a child-resistant container prior to leaving the point of sale. Child-resistant is defined as “designed or constructed to be significantly difficult for children under 5 years of age to open, and not difficult for normal adults to use properly”.
To certify Anonymous Bags as a Poison Prevention Package (child-resistant package), Bitner Associates conducted rigorous tests that comply with CPSC testing protocols. Bitner Associates is an independent testing laboratory and has been evaluating child-resistant packaging for both industry and government for over twenty five years. The company is recognized as a leader in the field by virtue of having employed hundreds of thousands of panelists and evaluated thousands of packaging concepts for child-resistance. Bitner Associates utilizes standard operating procedures along with quality assurance programs consistent with those acknowledged and supported by the CPSC and Environmental Protection Agency.
